What is Carbimazole Tablets?
Carbimazole Tablets are used to treat hyperthyroidism (an overactive thyroid), which is also known as thyrotoxicosis.

How to store Carbimazole?
- Keep all medicines out of the reach and sight of children.
- Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct heat and light.
Side-Effects

- hypersensitivity reactions including vasculitis, lung or kidney problems
- Insulin autoimmune syndrome,joint pain
- liver problems – seek immediate medical advice if you develop jaundice, stomach pain, loss of appetite and itchiness
- loss of taste,lymphadenopathy
- muscle problems – you should seek medical advice if you get any muscle pain or tenderness
- nausea,neuritis
- neuropathies,salivary gland swelling
- skin rash or rashes,Stevens-Johnson syndrome
- urticaria,worsening of goitre
- If you feel unwell or if you have concerns about a side-effect, you will need to seek advice. If you feel very ill, get medical help straight away.
